Midlife Crisis

A midlife crisis usually occurs between the ages of 40 and 60. Key word being usually. We all know I am unusual though and I think I am going through one now.

I feel like I haven't been myself lately. Nothing real serious, just that feeling of being "off" a bit.

After some serious soul searching and thinking I came to the conclusion I just wasn't happy with where I am in life. Me personally I mean as it has nothing to do with my amazing wife.

So, if your not happy with something you can do 3 things. Either accept it, ignore it, or do something to change it.

I have chosen to do something to change it. I know you are on the edge of your seats wondering what it is too. 😉

Most people buy a new car or something when they go through a midlife crisis. However, since I can't buy cheese for a whopper right now, there is no car purchasing going on.

No, for this kid, it is back to basics. I have decided to find someone to take over the lease on my truck and retire from being a Professional OTR Driver. While I love what I do, it just isn't for me right now where I am at in life. It doesn't mean that I wouldn't take a local driving job though.

In all actuality I'm not sure what I am going to do. This is what I do know though: I need to look into getting my discharge upgraded, need to get my VA claim started, and I am going to go back to school to finish my degree.

Not completely sure when all of this is going to happen yet as it depends on finding someone to take over this lease. Hopefully it is sooner rather than later though.
