Breaking News!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen it gives me great pleasure to inform you that the Everson family has grown.

Today, the woman formerly known as Angela Jeanne Dieterle gave me the great honor of becoming her husband thus becoming Angela Jeanne Everson!!

I know many of you are scratching your heads as we said earlier that 25 Sep 2010 would be the day. Well, since she is still active duty she has a 50/50 chance at deploying in June 2010. Instead of scrambling and trying to have a ceremony earlier, we decided to do the J.O.P. thing. Thank you to Heath and Roxanne for being our witnesses.

Angie and I aren't the pomp and circumstance kinda people anyway and at the end of the day, the outcome is the same. Plus we realized that a Sept wedding wouldn't allow many of those that would want to come do so, due to their kids being in school. I would also like to mention that my own mother told me I was actually making a sensible decision. This is important to get in writing as I rarely have those. LOL. Seriously though, both my parents and her parents knew a couple weeks ago and gave us their blessing.

Right now the plan is to have some sort of schindig at a later date. We will have to look real hard at when though in order to maximize the opportunity for those that want to attend

Neither one of us have ever been on a vacation or real honeymoon either so the plan is to save up for something and maybe have a vow renewal in conjunction on a beach somewhere.

Enough of the details..

Those that know me know what this means to me. I have been married twice previously, but Angie is the one I have always been looking for. We have actually been married for the last two years, but have the paper making it legal now.

That woman in my dreams all of these years finally has a face. I couldn't be more honored and humbled to be her husband. I still have no idea what I did to deserve such an amazing woman and mother, but I am glad I did.

See, I told you this week was going to be good! 🙂

  1. Sounds great, Ty! I've been following your FB and blog and really learned about leading a flatbed around the country from you. It sounds like you really lucked out with your mentor being an o/o and if there's demand for o/o's now, then there always will be.Congrats on the marriage and also the O/O transition. Looking forward to the pics of your new rig!Tim
