Shop update

It seems I have a competent mechanic this time. Just talked to him and he sent the logs to Detroit for review. He said the ATF system is messed up as the temp is only reaching 600 degrees when it should be 1,000 to 1200 during the regen process.

Detroit wants him to do a few more tests, but he is sure that either I have a bad injector, the turbo is oiling, or there is a hole in the ATF system. He said either one of those will cause smoke.

He said they have a corny saying.. If it smokes it's broke..

Anyway, he is running the other tests now. The good news I guess is that he said if it's any of the things he thinks it is, they are easy fixes.
